VILLA CARDS
1960-1964
Villa bounced straight back to the top flight in 1960, after a season in which they had trounced the rest of Division 2 (in one match they stuck 11 past Charlton, part of a run of three games in which they bagged 21 goals!). Silverware was won again, as the first-ever League Cup came Villa's way in 1961.
For football cards, this period saw the introduction of true, unadulterated colour photography.
